Recent Events
This 7-mile trail near Moraga in the East Bay is the 8th in our Pathfinder series. Expect a couple of hilly climbs, unusual rocks, wildflowers, and expansive views.
This 33.3-mile loop in Yosemite National Park is for experienced backpackers.We’ll start at the valley floor and hike in a sweeping loop around Half Dome.
Summer camp is a great opportunity for advancement in rank, especially for younger Scouts. If you are a new Scout, ask a troop member who’s been there to tell you all about it.
This 10.5-mile trail near Lafayette in the East Bay is considered challenging but not technical. It should take us between 4 and 5 hours to complete

October 12–14 — Two-night backpacking trip in Pt. Reyes. This is an opportunity to fulfill 2 nights of camping, 20 total miles of hiking, and other outdoor requirements for advancement.
Pinnacles
May 3-5 Two-night backpacking trip through 23 Million-year-old lava beds, canyons, caves, and rock spires. This is a also a training trip for our 50-miler.
Mt. Diablo
March 22-24 Two-night backpacking trip on nearby Mt. Diablo. Required for all 50-Mile participants. Various hike-in options for younger scouts. Suitable for all abilities.
