Nuclear Science Day
Spend the day at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. Learn the ABCs of Nuclear Science. Tour the Advanced Light Source. Earn the Nuclear Science merit badge! This is a free event.

Fleet Week
Watch the Fleet Week Airshow from the comfort of the lawn at the SF Sea Scout Base, while enjoying a lunch catered by Crew 21 and Troop 74.

Get a behind the scenes look at what went into designing the Sustainability Treehouse at Scouts BSA’s National High Adventure Base in West Virginia.

Jamboree on the Air
Jamboree-on-the-Air is the largest Scouting event in the world. Connect with Scouts around the world using amateur radio. Participate in a worldwide Minecraft challenge. Earn the Radio merit badge.

Intro to Backpacking
Three days. Two nights. 15 miles. Scouts will put their knowledge and skills to the test as we pack in (and out) everything we’ll need on this East Bay backpacking trip.

20-Miler
Hiking merit badge’s crown jewel. This unforgettable route is brimming with history, iconic views, and trivia. Open to Scouts from other San Francisco units. Sign up early!

Swimming Merit Badge
Compete your swimming merit badge partial or First Class or Second Class swimming requirements. This is not a swimming training session. It is an opportunity to demonstrate proficiency under the guidance of approved counselors.

Canoe Trip
Join us for two days of interactive leadership training, canoe instruction, and a 10-mile canoe trip to Guerneville.

Las Trampas
This 7-mile trail near Moraga in the East Bay is the 8th in our Pathfinder series. Expect a couple of hilly climbs, unusual rocks, wildflowers, and expansive views.

Yosemite Backpacking
This 33.3-mile loop in Yosemite National Park is for experienced backpackers.We’ll start at the valley floor and hike in a sweeping loop around Half Dome.

Camp Royaneh
Summer camp is a great opportunity for advancement in rank, especially for younger Scouts. If you are a new Scout, ask a troop member who’s been there to tell you all about it.

Briones 10-Miler
This 10.5-mile trail near Lafayette in the East Bay is considered challenging but not technical. It should take us between 4 and 5 hours to complete

Pride Parade
Join Scouts for Equality to show Troop 333’s support for inclusive Scouting. This will be our first time participating in San Francisco’s iconic Pride Parade.
