Royaneh is an exciting week-long summer camp experience for Scouts. It is located in Marin County, with swimming, Scoutcraft, handicraft, rifle/shotgun, horseback riding, climbing, and more!
The Week 6 Tradition
For 50 years, we have attended Camp Royaneh as a Troop during the sixth and final week of camp (July 18–24). We have also offered the option of a second week (week 5) for those who want to attend for two weeks. This year, we are exploring offering that second week at Wente Scout Reservation to give Scouts an opportunity to explore different offerings, including canoeing, sailing, mountain biking, rappelling, and more.
Early Registration Deposits
For early bird pricing, a non-refundable deposit of $350 is due by October 23. If possible, please let us know your summer camp commitment by this date. Our site is not guaranteed until we give Royaneh a final headcount, meaning that late registration may jeopardize our tradition of camping at Scanlon Ridge.
Parent Volunteers
Sign-ups for parent volunteers are in March. We need parent volunteers to help ensure Scouts are safe and supervised. At the same time, we value summer camp as a place for Scouts to gain independence, bond as a troop, and forge relationships with Scouts in other troops. The troop partially covers the cost of attendance for adult volunteers
