Engineering Merit Badge
Offered by the Harley-Davidson Museum, this 90-minute course, discussion, and virtual tour takes Scouts through the engineering involved in making a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Along the way, you’ll cover all the requirements of the Engineering merit badge with a qualified counselor. Cost is $20

American Indian Culture Merit Badge
offered online by the Grand Canyon Council. Tuesday, September 15, from 5:30 pm–7:30 pm Pacific. Cost is $10

Advance-O-Rama
This Council merit badge/advancement fair is open to all Scouts. If you’re any rank below Star, it’s a great opportunity to get instruction and sign-off on requirements like first aid, map reading, etc. If you’re interested in starting a merit badge or completing a partial, there are dozens to choose from. Fee is $75. No individual registrations. If you want to attend, let us know below.
New merit badges must be Scoutmaster-approved prior to starting. We generally do not approve Eagle-required badges in large group classes, but they will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Offered online by the Grand Canyon Council. Wednesday, September 16 and Wednesday, September 23, from 7:30 pm–9:30 pm. Cost is $10

Artificial Intelligence Merit Badge
Be one of the first to earn this new merit badge! Meets twice: Wednesday, October 14 and Wednesday, November 4. Both from 7:30 pm–9:30 pm. Cost is $10

Family Life Merit Badge
Offered online by the Grand Canyon Council. Thursday, October 15 and Thursday, November 5, from 7:30 pm–9:30 pm. Cost is $10

Things to Keep in Mind
If you see something you like, remember to get a Blue Card signed by your Scoutmaster first.
You may notice some virtual classes for Eagle-required badges. In general, your Scoutmaster will not approve taking these badges online.
In most cases, badges like Backpacking or Welding that require practical demonstration of skills will not be approved as an online class. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Merit badges don’t have to cost money. We share these virtual classes for your convenience, but merit badges don’t have to be classes and don’t have to cost anything. We will find you a qualified local counselor for any badge you want to earn.
