Sunday Streets is San Francisco’s open streets program that transforms miles of city streets into car-free community spaces for kids to play, seniors to stroll, businesses and organizations to connect, and neighbors to meet. Between 8,000–10,000 people attend the Excelsior event, making it the largest of the year.
An entire block of the event is dedicated to Scouting!
This is a chance to recruit new Scouts and project a positive image of Scouting in the community. We need 6-8 Scouts to help staff our booth.
When
Sunday, October 18, 11 am – 4 pm.
Street closures begin at 10 am.
Volunteers should arrive at 10:30 am for setup. Streets reopen just after 4 pm.
Where
