First Class Scouts (and higher) are eligible to hold a position of responsibility or leadership in the troop. In fact, it is a rank requirement for Star, Life and Eagle. When you’re appointed or elected, we’ll issue you a position patch for your uniform. Sew it it on right away so you don’t lose it. As a courtesy to your fellow Scouts, please remove your old position patch.
