Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) is the largest Scouting event in the world. JOTA uses amateur radio to link Scouts and hams around the world, around the nation, and in our own community.
Minecraft
At the same time, Jamboree-on-the-Internet will offer Scouts the option of coming together for a worldwide Minecraft challenge.
Radio Merit Badge
There will be one session of Radio merit badge offered from 10:30am - 1:00pm). Spots are extremely limited. There is a $25 fee to cover the materials.
Volunteer
Scouts can earn service hours by volunteering to help younger participants with Minecraft. Scoutmaster approval is required in advance.
Hot Lunch Option
A hot lunch (cooked by Troop 415) will be available for $10.
This free event is open to all youth, including non-scouts. There are 4, one-hour sessions to choose from.
NOTE: Our fall NERT drill is also on Saturday.
This is a District offering. Register directly with them. Troop 333 is not organizing transportation or providing adult leaders for this activity.
