Scouts pay dues to help support the troop, our council, and the BSA. Even our volunteer adult leaders pay dues. Between that and our bi-annual fundraiser, we’re able to cover the basic costs of operating the troop.
We are always helpful for any support that helps us go beyond the basics. Canoe trips, weeklong backpacking expeditions, and specialized training come at additional cost.

We take good care of our equipment and repair rather than replace whenever possible. Over time some things inevitably need replacing, and occasionally we need specialty equipment or supplies for specific purposes.
