Scouting Adventure

Sunday, February 25
9am – Noon

Add to Calendar

Welcome Webelos! If you’re looking to complete your AOL Scouting Adventure requirements, this is the outing for you. Join us for a day hike on Sunday, February 25. In addition to a fun hike, you will also:

  • See and learn how Scouts in our troop provide leadership

  • Learn the four steps of Scout advancement

  • Meets Scouts from every rank level (including Eagle)

  • Learn about merit badges are and how they are earned

That’s everything you need to complete requirement 2 of AOL Scouting Adventure! What’s more, you’ll be about 80% of the way to earning your Scout rank when you join a Troop!

Very moderate elevation gain of just 555 feet

We will meet at the Montara State Beach parking lot at 9am. There will be a brief welcome and some Scout-led instruction, then we’ll hit the trail. This is a gentle, 5-mile hike designed with Webelos in mind. The trails are well developed and the overall elevation gain is quite moderate. Five miles may sound like a lot but you can do it!

We’ll be back at our starting point around 12pm. Lunch will be provided.

RSVP below or contact us with questions.
