Aviation Merit Badge

March 8, 9:30am–4pm
Hiller Aviation Museum

The Aviation Merit Badge program allows Scouts to complete their requirements in an immersive aviation environment. Scouts use Hiller Aviation Museum exhibits and aircraft to satisfy the various requirements for the Aviation Merit Badge, including hands-on aircraft checkout and a realistic flight simulation session.

Note: Sign up directly with Hiller Aviation Museum. There is no troop sign up form for this event. We will organize carpooling closer to the date.

What to Bring

Lunch & snacks
There is no food service at the Museum.

Water
Stay hydrated throughout the day.

Your (signed) blue card
Blue cards aren’t actually blue anymore, and they’re not cards—but you still need one to get signed off on Merit Badge requirements. Before you go, print this form, fill in your name and unit number, and get your Scoutmaster’s signature.

Workbook
No need to study in advance (unless you want to), but you must bring and complete the workbook to earn the badge.
